The first was Dj Alfredo, immortalised
by his fusion of styles which first created the 'Balearic Beat' around
1986. Nobody continued and developed this better that C�sar De Melero. Hailing from Balearica, it was C�sar who, during his time in the best discotheques in the island and with his own music, gave Ibiza it's own identity and international fame from the '80s to the present day. The true founder of the Ibizan house scene, and mentor to most of the Spanish Dj's who are working today, Melero commands a respect which grows daily. C�sar has been resident in 'Privilege' (ex. KU) since 1985 except few seasons in 'Space' and 'Pacha'. Privilege is the worlds largest discotheque with a capacity for up to 17000 clubbers during the night.
